You are in charge of designing flotation devices for a cruise ship. We want something that will not need to be inflated. (Blowing up a raft would take too long, and the raft could pop!) Find two materials that would be good candidates for these flotation devices, and two materials that should be rejected. Be prepared to defend the reasons for your two choices and your two rejects.
